SSB Constable Recruitment 2026: The Sashastra Seema Bal has issued a notification for recruitment to 827 constable posts. In this, SSB will recruit constable tradesmen and driver posts under Group C. Age Limit
In Border Security Force Constable Recruitment 2026, the age limit has been kept from 18 years to 27 years as per the trade. In this, the age will be calculated as on 20th April 2026, whereas the reserved categories have been given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the government rules.

Selection Process
In the Sashastra Seema Bal Constable Recruitment 2026, firstly, the Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted, in which male candidates will have to complete a 4.8 Km run in 24 minutes, and female candidates will have to complete a 2.4 Km run in 18 minutes. The Physical Standard Test will be conducted.
After this, a computer-based examination of two hours will be conducted in which questions of General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General English or Hindi will be asked. This paper will be of 100 marks, and the final merit list will be prepared on this basis. Candidates will be required to score a minimum 50% marks, while SC and ST will be required to score a minimum 45% marks.
Approximately 20 times the number of candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for the trade test. This will be of 50 marks and qualifying in nature. Then, three times the number of candidates will be called for the medical examination.
